WPE WebKit 2.52.6 released

This is a bug fix release in the stable 2.52 series.

What’s new in WPE WebKit 2.52.6?

  • Improve memory usage in pages that use font variations.
  • Allow disabling font subpixel rendering through WPESettings, which is now the default setting and matches font the default rendering in most desktop environments.
  • The webkit://gpu page now respects the dark theme user preference.
  • Fix cross compilation due to failure to pick the correct gio-unix-2.0 headers in certain configurations.
  • Fix calculating data sizes of reported through WebKitWebsiteData.
  • Fix the build with USE_SYSTEM_UNIFDEF=OFF, which still checked for an installed unifdef command unconditionally.
  • Fix the build with CMake 4.4 or newer.
  • Fix several crashes and rendering issues.
